In this quest, ye shall be tasked with uncovering sacred relics Loki hath concealed from the mighty Odin. Only by solving the riddles within can ye restore this Viking realm and earn Odin's eternal favor.

Welcome to 1981, where the neon dreams of gaming have turned into a chilling nightmare. Once a bustling haven for local gamers, this arcade has fallen silent, its doors locked after the sudden arrival of a mysterious black machine. You and your friends have been smuggled in by the desperate janitor, the last soul brave enough to step inside. He speaks of vanishing players, strange lights, and the machine's ominous hum - rumors of a game that not only challenges you, but plays you. Armed with a set of keys and the janitor's whispered warnings, you enter a room filled with dormant cabinets, each hiding the secrets of those who disappeared before you.

Escape Gallery is Poulsbo, Washington’s premiere escape room experience. Brought to you by Eva Pinto and John Lyon-Smith; two passionate puzzle geeks and long-time locals who love the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula and are committed to celebrating its history, creativity, and beauty.

What exactly is an outdoor puzzle box?Our puzzle box is a custom designed, handcrafted wooden box that will guide you through Poulsbo's beautiful historic town. As you follow the story of the Viking Legacy, puzzles will take you to murals, artifacts and hidden details that are often overlooked. Fun for both locals and visitors!

Will I need my phone or any other devices?Yes, a smart phone is necessary to complete the puzzle box. The puzzle box goes hand-in-hand with an online component which guides you through the experience. You will want to have your phone fully charged to ensure you can play it through to the end.

How long does it take?We find most people complete the puzzle box within 60-90 minutes, when playing straight through. However, there is no limit to how long you want to take to complete the puzzle box. In fact, we recommend stopping to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, chocolate, pastry or any number of treats along the way. Be sure to allow plenty of time to play the game in daylight, however. Some of the puzzles can be challenging to see in dim light.

Is there an age limit to do the outdoor puzzle box?Our puzzle box is fun for all ages, however many of the puzzles may require a clever teen or adult level mindset. We also highly recommend that adults accompany younger players as there are several times where crossing the street is necessary.

How many people do you need to do the puzzle box?There is no limit to the number of people who can do a puzzle box together. We believe having at least two people makes it more fun, but it can be completed with even just one person.

What should we wear?Be sure to dress for outdoor weather. You will most likely be outside for at least an hour and often longer, so come prepared to ensure you are comfortable from start to finish.

How much does the outdoor puzzle box cost?Our Viking Legacy of Poulsbo puzzle box costs $54, with a $10 refund to you upon the return of the box itself in good condition.

How do I return the box for my refund?You can return the box at our Escape Gallery space where you purchased it during our pick-up hours (Fridays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00 to noon) and we will refund your $10 on site.

What is an Escape Room?An Escape Room, also known as a Puzzle Room, is a real-world immersive adventure game where players work together to solve puzzles and complete tasks within a time limit to achieve a common goal.

Are we really locked in?Nope. Never. Although we will close the door behind you to help set the immersive experience, the door will always be unlocked and you can leave the room at any time.

How much does it cost?Our Odin's Dilemma experience is targeted to be around $45 per person. Please bear with us, we will share pricing when we get closer to our opening date.

How do I book the experience?To book a time slot, click on our 'Book Now' button, select a time slot, and fill out the form.

How many people can play at once?To successfully navigate the puzzles and have the best experience, you will need a minimum of 2 people, with a maximum of 6. Please contact us if you have extenuating circumstances or questions and we will do our best to work with you.

What is the age range or age limit?In general, most escape rooms are a great experience for all ages. However, some of the props and experiences may be scary for little ones. We trust you to know best. Children under 12 are welcome to join their family in the adventure, and don't require a ticket. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied in the room by at least one adult, and have their waiver pre-signed (or on site) by a legal adult.

Will we be paired with strangers?You will not be paired with strangers. Whether there are two of you in a group or six, the room is yours. Each booking is private.

What if we want to add an additional player to our group?You can change details of your booking more than 24 hours in advance. If you want to add more players to your group at the last minute, feel free to bring them. We can sign them up and collect payment on site. Please keep in mind that we encourage no more than 6 people in a group to get the most out of the experience.

Can we still do this experience if we're running late?If you are running late, you can still do the experience but your time may be cut short accordingly. If you want to add more players to your group at the last minute, feel free! We can sign them up and collect payment on site. Please make sure to be on site 10 to 15 minutes prior to your reservation to review instructions, use the bathroom, etc.

Is it ADA compliant?Our public areas are wheelchair accessible, however our puzzles rooms are not, due to the placement and size of props. Many of the puzzles also have audio and visual components. This being said, collaboration is a key factor in successfully navigating the experience. We would be happy to discuss special needs any of your group members might have. We will do our very best to accommodate everyone.

Can I cancel or change my booking?We will do our best to work with you on cancelations or changes. Our policy is to give a full refund if you cancel or change a booking time within 24 hours of the reservation. You can cancel or reschedule your reservation 24 hours or more in advance by replying to your original confirmation email and letting us know, or go to our Booking form and selecting 'Alter Reservation' next to your reservation.
