Framing, Staining, and Electrical - Oh My!

Hello from Escape Gallery and thank you again for following us on our Poulsbo puzzle room journey!

Since receiving our building permit, framing for the walls for all five themed escape rooms has been installed, followed by much of the plywood placement and staining, and painting of door frames. It's oddly surprising how much bigger a space looks with walls in place vs. a wide open expanse. Go figure!

Power Up & Puzzle Prep!

Our biggest celebration in late January was getting our electrical inspection approved! John and Carmen did the electrical themselves - bravo to them! We learned a lot along the way and are now primed for the next phase... installing our premiere puzzle room, Odin's Dilemma!

This first experience is now our primary focus and we can't wait to start making the magic happen. To help with laying out the room, we created a 3d-printed miniature model of Odin's Dilemma. In addition to channeling our inner-kid spirit as we printed, painted, and played with these toy-sized replicas, it's been a huge help with puzzle and prop placement, 12-volt wiring plans, and game flow.

Other projects we've been working on include creating a hand-made faux rock fireplace, crafting a 3D printed deer horn chandelier, and respectfully staining our locally carved pieces of puzzle art.

Outdoor Puzzle Ready!

In addition to building out our on-site escape rooms, we have recently completed our 'Viking Legacy of Poulsbo' outdoor puzzle box! This handcrafted game is intended for all adventurers, either local or visiting our area for the first time, as it takes you through historic Poulsbo following clues as you solve puzzles and discover its many secrets.

It's never a dull moment as we continue moving toward our goal of opening this Spring. We are so grateful to have you join us in this adventure and we look forward to sharing next steps and beyond!

Cheers from Eva, John and the Escape Gallery team!!!
